REVIEW OF THE GOURD-SHAPED MAKEUP SPONGE

So today I'll be reviewing the Gourd-Shaped Makeup Sponge from the brand Kinepin. From past experiences, in my opinion Kinepin sells very good quality makeup tools for a reasonable price. I bought the sponge from the korean stationery shop 'Morning Glory' for $7. Has anyone heard of the shop? They sell the CUTEST stationery items and other things! If you live in Australia or any country that has morning glory go check the Kinepin Makeup section!

 As you can see it came in a plastic packaging, not the best but I still think it's pretty cute!

 The texture of the sponge is very soft, scentless and I would say really elastic! It's not one of those beauty blender dupes with very poor quality (like F21's one.. I was going to buy the F21's sponge but I read reviews of it being pretty hard and that it has a very weird scent)

Don't you just love the colour of this? I'm not sure how many colours there were because I only saw this colour when I was purchasing it but I personally like the peach coloured sponge so all is g

When I first tried the sponge, it was very gentle on my face and didn't have a very firm texture but I did realise that because of the holes in the sponge, it absorbed my concealer and foundation a lot. But even so, it gave my face a really natural and almost air-brush finish which I like.

Out of 5 I would give it:

★★★★☆

This is because it was beyond reasonable for its price. The quality was great and gave such a natural finish but it just absorbed too much of my makeup. I would really recommend it to you if you don't want to splurge on a beauty blender because this REALLY does have a good quality! I can see myself using it everyday!
