MISSHA REAL LASTING PEN EYELINER REVIEW

Hi Lovelies it's Maria
Today I'll be reviewing one of the items I bought at my recent haul, the Missha Real Lasting Pen Eyeliner. This is ₩8,800 but I got it for around $19 when I was in Singapore
This is my first time trying a Missha product and to be honest I wasn't expecting much as there's not as much talk on Missha products than Etude House, Innisfree, TonyMoly, Nature Republic, Aritauma and etc. But I was pretty amazed by the quality of it.
May I say that i just LOVE LOVE LOVE the packaging? It screams sophistication and classiness I just love it! But it's made out of a pretty thin metal that doesn't seem like it will hold up well (I've already broken the lid of it.........)
In this photo you can't really see the broken lid but I don't really mind, at least it still caps my eyeliner to prevent drying, right? As you can see, the pen is really thin which is really good for precision. It's also a waterproof eyeliner which is great!
You can see how thick and think you can make the line using the eyeliner.

Since it's a waterproof eyeliner here's the waterproof test:
This eyeliner holds up really well after being splashed with a whole load of water. But yes, some of the eyeliner got washed with the water as you can see but it doesn't ruin the lines of the eyeliner (I don't know if that makes any sense to you... I'm so sorry I just suck at explaining)

Here's the smudge test:
After smudging it once with my finger, it does slightly smudge with the water but it doesn't go all over the place and you could just gently dab the smudge area and it will just be good as new! (does that make sense? AHAHAHA)

I wanted to test how far this waterproof eyeliner could resist budging so I grabbed a tissue and wiped off the eyeliner:
It did smudge a lot after having used a tissue to wipe it off but it doesn't disappoint me as it did hold up a lot for the other 2 tests.
Because of the brush's thinness, it allows for a natural line

Would I buy this again?
Yes I would because overall for its price its quality is great! I mean, yea I did buy it for $19 but for Korean dollars it's a great steal! Even though it did smudge a lot with the tissue test, I guarantee that you won't look like a panda when using it unless you use a cloth to wipe your eyes but apart from that all is good! Even in Singapore, where it was so humid, it did slightly smudge at the bottom corner of my eyes but gurl it wasn't that bad! I didn't look like a panda at the end of the day so if you're thinking of getting it I would say go for it cause you will have no regrets trust me.

Out of 5 stars I would rate it:
★★★★1/2
(I couldn't find a half star... sorry)

Because-
Pros:
  • It says what it claims, that it's waterprood
  • It's smudgeproof
  • Real Black
  • Great deal for its price
  • Love the gold packaging
Cons:
  • The lid broke (or maybe it's just the way I handle it)
